We are seeking applications for an exciting position based within the Health Protection team at Regional Public Health. The Drinking Water Assistance Programme (DWAP) Facilitator will work with small drinking water suppliers to improve drinking water quality in communities in the Greater Wellington region.
Christchurch City Council requires a new Manager of Water and Wastewater Treatment to provide leadership and management to the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants operated by Christchurch City. The City’s major plant is state of the art and is the second largest treatment plant in New Zealand with two new digesters having recently been commissioned and a new thermal drying facility – the most advanced in the country – to shortly go on-line. The plant is also involved in world first initiatives such as turning algae into biofuels and is continually looking for additional ways to maximise energy and nutrient recovery.
This senior role requires strong local technical experience coupled with a proven track record delivering civil and infrastructure water projects with excellent commercial outcomes for our clients.
