NZWETA is a joint venture between Water New Zealand and Opus International Consultants, providing education and training for all sectors of the broader water and wastes industry.Water New Zealand is affiliated to a large number of New Zealand and overseas organisations.

Professor Robert Glennon Lectures : February 2012 - Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch
In conjunction with the Royal Society of New Zealand, Water New Zealand has arranged a series of public lectures by Professor Robert Glennon on the crisis facing the United States in the management of its freshwater. Robert Glennon is a Professor of Law and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. (Professor Glennon's CV can be viewed here)
The lectures will be held in Hamilton (1 February, 6.00pm), Wellington (8 February, 6.00pm) and Christchurch (9 February, 6.00pm).
