The Water New Zealand Journal: "WATER"
"WATER" is published five times a year, and we welcome contributions of technical and general news items across the spectrum of the water and wastes industry on the following areas:
- policy & legislation
- water quality
- demand management
- wastewater
- project news
- modelling
- stormwater
- international
- training
- trade waste
- industry news and
- technical topics/papers (up to 3-4,000 words)
The first issue of "WATER" for 2012 will be published in March. The main themes are Rainwater Harvesting, Modelling and Water Storage. The deadline to submit material is Friday 3 February 2012.
If you would like to submit an article on these themes or on other aspects of the water environment please contact the journal editor, Simone Olsen simone@avenues.co.nz with ideas, contributions or queries.

Contributions
Contact the Editor with your story ideas or contributions.
- Articles should be emailed as unformatted Word files to the Journal Liaison
- Where possible, single spacing should be used between sentences with a single return between paragraphs.

Any images or diagrams supplied should be sent as separate files – ideally jpg or tiff. Images need to be a resolution of 300 dpi for printing purposes.
- Water New Zealand reserves the right to edit any material selected for inclusion in the Journal.
