Submission on the Proposed National Planning Standards

Water New Zealand supports the overall intent of the national planning standards. They have the potential to enable a more consistent approach across the three waters sector, which in turn would contribute to improved sector efficiency and performance. Unfortunately the proposed scope for the first set of standards excludes most elements that would deliver these infrastructure benefits.
