About the opportunity:

As a member of the Environment Technical Group, reporting to the Sustainability Technical Manager, you will play a key role in providing leadership and subject matter expertise in Environment Engineering across a portfolio of wastewater projects. You will provide technical input across wastewater treatment interdependencies, owning capital project deliverables, while mentoring team members in best practice engineering solutions.

This role will provide strategic thought leadership across site-specific wastewater projects, involving treatment plant design and operation and will support the development of a technical strategy for Fonterra's wastewater and water projects at a national level.

We are about to embark on a number of key wastewater projects and this is a great opportunity to partner with teams both internally and externally to facilitate complex problem-solving solutions that support our commitment to Kaitiakitanga.

About You:

We are committed to providing you with an onboarding experience that will enable you to get up to speed with projects and get to know our organisation. The successful candidate will have an engineering background in wastewater treatment plant design, commissioning and construction projects, ideally from the dairy, food and manufacturing industry or a consulting background.

You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, combined with strong project leadership experience as well as a passion for sharing your knowledge with others.
