Are you an engineer with a passion for water and waste-water reticulation and treatment? Would you like to join an organisation that makes a difference? We manage water and waste to sustain life and protect our environment.

Our Three Waters and Waste unit is responsible for developing and implementing the management and maintenance of the city's water, stormwater and waste-water reticulation including water and waste-water treatment plants on Banks Peninsula.

As Senior Advisor for reticulation and maintenance you'll be providing advice on complicated and technical matters. You'll have experience in both water and waste-water at a senior level and a technical background is important. A typical day will see you liaising across the business as well as with external contractors and engineers, so you'll need strong communication skills and have the ability to lead investigations for various issues that might arise.

You may come from an engineering background in contracting or perhaps you are a consultant - whatever your background, it goes without saying that you will have strong commercial acumen and will enjoy working within an inclusive and collaborative culture.

In return for your expertise and technical experience as well as your motivation to make things happen, we offer you the opportunity to get first-hand experience helping to shape the city's future!
