The Contract Manager position sits within our Core Services team, and is responsible for managing infrastructure network maintenance and service contracts, by evaluating, monitoring and having overall accountability for contract performance. You will conduct analysis to provide recommendations to the Infrastructure Managers in relation to extensions of contracts; ensuring compliance with contractual obligations; and reviewing and negotiating contract variations other core services activities for the Infrastructure Group of Council.

Our ideal candidate will be degree or trade qualified and with an engineering background, with a minimum of around 5 years post-qualification experience. You will bring to this position your experience in a contract management using NZS3917, and experience working with request for service software or systems would be an advantage.

We expect that you will have proven experience in contract management to drive our maintenance and service contracts. And most importantly, building strong working relationships will be a breeze with your exceptional communication skills being put to good use when dealing with contractors, the public and Council clients.
