TRILITY, in partnership with Rotorua Lakes Council, is looking to fill the role of Asset Manager.  An interesting and diverse role with a mix of field and office-based work, we require a candidate who is tech-savvy and experienced with data and systems.  A solution orientated mindset, along with being customer centric, you’ll be a motivated leader who can deliver services in terms of asset data collection & management, asset condition assessments, asset renewal plans, maintenance management and renewals project delivery.  This is a key role contributing significantly to the overall operating efficiency and profitability of the contract.

The Asset Manager will be accountable for all of the assets operated and maintained by the company on this contract.  The role takes leadership and responsibility for the asset standards of service, asset data and system, efficiency of maintenance and renewal activities, asset reliability performance reporting, and life cycle costs. 

The Asset Manager will investigate proposed investment requirements and evaluate alternatives, including the development of concept designs for inclusion in the R&R programme.  Also, a key responsibility is the development and update/review of detailed Asset Management plans for all of the managed assets. 

To be successful in this role, you will have an engineering qualification or trade with equivalent experience. You will also demonstrate sound leadership expertise. Experience collecting and managing data across various systems, have a working knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), such as asset register, work orders, maintenance plans, failure codes and asset attributes are all desirable.  A working knowledge of failure mode effect criticality analysis (FMECA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) principals and will have undertaken asset management work such as asset verifications, condition assessments and criticality analysis are also key requirements.

Experience in managing the assets for wastewater networks and treatment plants, along with experience managing CCTV inspection programs, the use of GIS, creating whole of life refurbishment and replacement plans and renewals project delivery would be ideal. Provision of support to Operations to develop, maintain and manage their maintenance system, experience in Asset Management Plan (AMP) review, AM system development, would also be looked upon favourably.
