TRILITY, in partnership with Rotorua Lakes Council, is looking to fill the role of Project Manager Assets. Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of agreed asset management programme through the execution of replacement refurbishment and capital projects.  You will manage your own projects along with mentoring and supervising other projects which fall within the scope of your role.  A key factor in this role is the delivery of on-time and on-budget approach to the asset management programme which will mitigate operational and contractual risk.

Key accountabilities of this role include;

  • Ensure TRILITY’S systems for Safety, Quality and Environment are fully utilised
  • The delivery of renewals and refurbishment and Capital Projects
  • Reporting, resource planning and project phasing
  • Coordination of resources, incl mentor, supervise and assist other project managers
  • Project scoping and budgets
  • Database management
  • Assist with updating asset management plans incl WOL plans and costings
  • Business development and operations opportunities
  • Assist with development and review of a project delivery framework

We are looking for a qualified candidate with a minimum of three years PM experience, who has experience within tender management and complex project delivery, ideally within the scope of infrastructure renewals and asset management. Also having had experience within water or wastewater treatment plants and systems would be advantageous.  You’ll have competent skills using SAP PM and PS Modules, and also bring to the table the ability to manage and oversee multiple projects, programmes and priorities.

An analytical thinker with self-motivation and initiative, you’ll be organised, a critical thinker, customer centric with a real ability to focus on key results while influencing and motivating others along the way.  You’ll demonstrate flexibility, creativity and resilience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  It is preferred that the successful candidate resides in the Rotorua region.
