The asset and planning division is key to achieving this goal, being a centre of excellence for asset management and information intelligence. We’re looking for an experienced senior manager to head this critical team and lift asset management maturity across Council.
This is a role you can really make your mark on - you’ll drive the development and implementation of strategic asset management at the organisation level. You’ll have a long-term strategic view, working to ensure a coordinated approach that is sustained and integrated across Council. To succeed in this role, you’ll be skilled in analysing complex issues, and have a thorough knowledge of asset management as a business process, and how asset data on condition and performance is translated into business cases and programmes of work.
Your team is critical to developing the Infrastructure wide programme of works. You’ll have a tangible impact on the city, with your work in developing Asset Management Plans and informing the Long Term Plan and 30 year infrastructure strategy. As you can imagine, significant collaboration is required in this role, so you’ll have a history of building and maintaining relationships.
