As a subject matter expert, you will work alongside our team of thought leaders, innovators and strategists to create a better future for Hamiltonians and the Waikato Metro Area.

Key components of the role will be:
- To provide a safe, efficient and effective network across Hamilton City
- Leading key stormwater infrastructure planning projects
- Contributing to the stormwater growth program, projects in the 10-year plan and 30-year strategy and district plan revisions
- Directing modelling needed for stormwater planning and capital projects
- Communicating infrastructure strategies and solutions

To be successful, you will need over 5 years’ work in a similar Infrastructure Engineer position and a relevant qualification, ideally in Engineering (or Science).

The role will be based in the central city but we are open to discussing flexible work arrangements like working from home too.
