The Three Waters and Waste Unit is responsible for delivering sustainable water and waste services to the community, including the supply and treatment of drinking water.

To ensure water services are provided in a safe, reliable, effective and efficient manner, we have created two positions in the new role of Operations Liaison Engineer. These roles will lead the operational engagement between the Operations and the Capital Delivery team.

As the Operational Liaison Engineer, you will act as the key person between the Operations and Capital Project teams ensuring the successful and seamless delivery of assets through design and implementation to operational takeover and post takeover support, whilst safeguarding any site, process, regulatory and statutory requirements and maximising benefits.

Our ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification at Degree level in relevant field or relevant experience to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge, along with a Certificate level in Water/Wastewater Reticulation/Treatment. In addition to the qualifications, they will also have five years' operational experience in the water/wastewater industry and five years' experience liaising or being part of a capital delivery project team.
