We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Manager with overall management and delivery responsibility for our New Zealand Projects, Technical, Assets Group (NZ PTAG).NZ PTAG are Veolia’s in-house technical specialists, providing client-tailored solutions in respect to existing contract obligations and value add services across our NZ water, waste and energy operations.

Based in our new Ellerslie corporate office and reporting to the New Zealand Group General Manager, you will be a member of the Veolia NZ Leadership Team and be responsible for all aspects of the management of the NZ PTAG team including team management and mentoring, budget management, quality management, client liaison, planning and co-ordination, work review and signoff, project delivery and problem resolution.

Key responsibilities of the Technical Manager role are:

Leadership and management of the NZ PTAG team in the delivery of Veolia NZ project, technical, assets services supporting Veolia NZ Operations, Growth and Corporate Support.

Ensure provision of innovative on-time, on-quality, on-safety and on-budget project, technical, assets services and expertise aligned with existing business obligations and business growth opportunities.

Actively expand Veolia’s NZ business revenue through provision of value add projects, technical and asset services to Veolia clients.

Actively support Veolia’s NZ business to secure new growth opportunities.

Liaise with Veolia clients (both external and internal) and ensure that established relationships are maintained and further developed.

Plan and coordinate NZ PTAG service delivery and undertake continual review of priorities according to changing client and Veolia business needs.
