Operations Manager - Horizons Regional Council

As part of the River Management leadership team, this role has a particular focus on a number of key result areas, and looks for applicants who have contemporary and proven skills in the following areas:

leadership and development of people - many of whom may be working remotely from you

a strong skillset in infrastructural asset management

experience in the management of river and drainage operations, contracts, work programmes, and financial management

comfort and confidence in building good relationships whilst representing your organisation in settings such as public meetings and with a broad range of stakeholders.

Ideally you'll have an engineering qualification and relevant local authority experience.
