We are looking for a motivated, capable person to join our Catchment Operations division.

About the role

You will be part of an experienced team responsible for the Council's core functions of river management and land drainage works.

The work is varied, interesting and can be challenging so we want the right person; someone solutions-focused, who will bring fresh thinking and encourage innovation.

A tertiary qualification in engineering and skills in river processes would be an advantage, but we are happy to consider applicants with other relevant work experience.

A working knowledge of health and safety, experience in contract supervision, outstanding communication and relationship building skills are ideal and a full driver's licence is essential.
