Wastewater Treatment Plant Coordinator - New Plymouth District Council

Through this full-time, permanent role you can contribute to providing high-quality core wastewater services to protect public health and the environment.

This role involves coordinating a team of technicians to ensure the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of the New Plymouth District Council's Wastewater Treatment Plant and pump stations. Championing a robust health and safety mind-set, you will ensure this 24 hour seven day a week operation meets relevant consents and standards.

We are seeking a leader who is a reliable team player and excellent problem-solver with a 'can do' approach. You must have the ability to learn quickly and provide clear direction.

Ideally the successful candidate will have work experience in either wastewater operations or other process plant settings, as well as experience in effectively leading teams within an operational environment. A relevant qualification would also be an advantage.
