Based in our Te Aroha office of the Water and Wastewater business unit, the position of Utilities Engineer has a broad focus across the 3 waters activity.
You could be in the field investigating network problems; advising on network improvements and potential impacts of new residential and commercial developments; assisting in project design meetings; meeting with trade waste customers or sampling the water supply if there is an issue.
To be successful you will need to have an engineering diploma or degree and ideally five years post-qualification experience. Knowledge of telemetry systems and contract management would also be an advantage.
A working knowledge of legislation and standards for water supply, wastewater treatment and storm water are also desirable.
