Three Waters Administrator - Waimate District Council

The Waimate District Council is seeking a Three Waters Technical Administrator to support the delivery of our service and regulatory  the district's three water networks. 

This position is permanent and full time working 37.50 hours a week with excellent remuneration and working conditions for the right person. Assistance with relocation is available if necessary.

The successful applicant needs to be a motivated team player but have the ability to work unsupervised. You must be computer literate and have a good understanding of New Zealand regulations and standards in drinking water and health and safety. There is a high level of customer contact requiring excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Waimate is situated less than 2.5 hours from Dunedin or Christchurch and just half an hour from Timaru or Oamaru. It is close to the sea, lakes and mountains boasting a great lifestyle. It is a small community with a population of 7,731 and is a highly productive agricultural region with a broad and expanding farming sector. This is an ideal location for family, outdoor sports and pursuits with a rural lifestyle.
