There has been a lot in the media about the state of water quality around New Zealand and what, if anything, should be done about it. The Ministry for the Environment is currently consulting on the next steps for management of freshwater in New Zealand.
So, what is the current situation with freshwater in Taranaki? At the April meeting, Fred McLay from Taranaki Regional Council and John Pfahlert, CEO and Brent Manning, President from Water New Zealand will clarify it all for us.
