Drones for stormwater: Matthew Gardner of Land River Sea Consulting Ltd will present on the use of consumer grade drones as a cost effective and reliable method for collecting detailed topographical data (LiDAR quality) as well as high resolution aerial photography. He will discuss the usefulness of drones in the stormwater industry as well as outline the limitations for their use based on his experience.

Niddrie Burn River Restoration: The Niddrie Burn River Restoration is an GB£4.7 million (NZ$8.4 million) scheme incorporating a 1.6km length of river realignment, flood management areas and hydraulic control structures. Duncan Farish of Jacobs will discuss the design, innovations, construction and lessons learned.
