Anglian Water Workshops - carbon legislation learnings from UK - Christchurch

With New Zealand’s climate change legislation aspiring towards the UK model, Enviro-Mark Solutions has organised for leading UK water company, Anglian Water, to share their experience of operating under the UK’s Climate Change Act with NZ businesses. We are organising free workshops for our valued colleagues in the infrastructure space and would like to invite you to attend. Information on the workshops is below:

David Riley, Head of Carbon & Energy at Anglian Water, (one of the largest water companies in the UK) will share Anglian Water’s sustainability story. Anglian Water is recognised as a leader in climate action in the UK. They have been CEMARS certified since 2008, measure carbon in infrastructure, and issued the first green bond in the UK.

Workshops with Anglian Water and Enviro-Mark Solutions will be held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch that you can attend.

Auckland Workshop: 8th October, at Watercare Offices:73 Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland. The workshop will be held from 10.30-12.30, followed by a buffet lunch.

Wellington Workshop: 12th October at Ministry for the Environment offices: First Floor, Environment House, Kate Sheppard Place, Wellington. There will be an initial talk at 11.00am, a light lunch at midday, then a workshop from 12.30 to 2.00pm.

Christchurch Workshop: 15th October at Christchurch City Council offices: Function Room, 1st Floor, 53 Hereford Street. A buffet lunch will be available from 12.30 with the workshop beginning at 1pm.
