The Poster of the Year Award was first presented in 2000 and provides an avenue for presentation of information on initial findings of work that has been commenced, as well as work from completed projects. The Award affords a unique opportunity for authors wanting to share their knowledge or experiences through the medium of display posters at the Conference. Posters are marked by the Technical Committee.
Each eligible poster is marked against following five criteria:
- Technical Content
- Practical Content
- Future Use
- Clarity and Logic
- Poster Author response to questions (Scored Zero if Author not in attendance)
Call for Poster Abstracts
The Water New Zealand Conference & Expo 2021 will be held at Claudelands Event Centre in Hamilton from 21- 23 September 2021.
After a successful call for technical paper abstracts, we are now looking for a call for poster abstracts to supplement the technical programme and provide further insight into the industry and its people.
As per previous years, posters will be printed by the organisers and prominently displayed at the conference. Poster presenters will also have the opportunity to address delegates and judges during the lunch break on Tuesday, 21 September.

Poster updates for 2021
This year, delegates will also get to vote for their favourite poster using the delegate attendee app. This overall vote will aid in the final selection of the poster award winner, along with reviews from the judges.
