The Water Utilities Association (WUA) is an unincorporated body which operates as a subgroup of Water New Zealand.
Its principal function is to discuss major policy issues that affect the sector and to provide advice to the Board of Water New Zealand.
Membership is drawn from the senior management of territorial local authorities and larger corporate members (consultants, contractors and suppliers). Each council and larger corporate member in New Zealand is invited to send two representatives to regular meetings of the Association.
