$700,000 fine for making false and misleading representations about ‘flushable’ wipes

Water New Zealand is behind the Australian Water Association who is welcoming the judgement of the Federal Court of Australia to fine Pental $700,000 for making false and misleading representations about their White King ‘flushable’ wipes. As an industry, we all understand the negative impact these products have on our water utilities which is why there have been a number of great campaigns to raise awareness, including Sydney Water’s Keep Wipes out of Pipes campaign.
