Hi :Person_firstname:

Happy Matariki, we hope that next week wherever you are in Aotearoa you will have an opportunity to celebrate this season with friends and family. If the skies are clear, see if you can spot the three water connected stars - Waitī watching over our fresh water environment, Waitā surveying our oceans and the food within it, and Waipuna-a-Rangi to welcome our winter ua (rain), ua nganga (hail) and hukarere (snow).

Find out more about Matariki here.

Water New Zealand Submission

Submission to Building System Legislative Reform Programme Discussion Document

This legislative reform is more about the need for licensing and certification, although we believe this is required for the water sector. The actual licensing, certifying body may not necessarily be associated with the Building Act but there is a need to make it known that there is a requirement for this with in the water sector. We apologise in advance for not being able to circulate the draft submission widely but expect future opportunities to seek feedback and provide commentary to MBIE.
