The Water New Zealand Conference & Expo held in Hamilton last week was another roaring success. We would like thank everybody for coming and making it another successful conference. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Take a look at some of the highlights – you may even spot yourself!

New Zealand Gravity Pipe Inspection Manual 4th Edition
The 4th edition of the New Zealand Gravity Pipe Inspection Manual incorporates the evolution of pipeline inspection and the changing requirements of the water industry since the publication of the 3rd Edition in 2006. The scope of the revision was identified in the report prepared for the ‘Evidence Based Investment Decision Making for 3 Waters Pipe Network Programme’, a joint initiative between Water New Zealand, IPWEA, and the University of Canterbury Quake Centre titled “Recommendations for the Revision of the New Zealand Pipe Inspection Manual, December 2016” by ProjectMax.

Three Waters Regulatory Reforms Roadshow
Water New Zealand plans to hold a series of workshops around the country early 2020, rather than November as had initially been intended. We will continue to keep members informed as we receive information regarding the three waters reform.

Environment Minister, Hon David Parker opened the Water New Zealand Conference & Expo in Hamilton last week. The Minister expressed confidence that NZ will meet the challenges of improving its waterways.
