We note that some members are receiving email offers from unknown parties who are offering to sell our Conference and Expo Attendee Lists for unlimited use. These are SCAMS and should be ignored as Water New Zealand would never market your information without your express written consent as we respect and preserve your privacy. The only trusted messaging to members would come from either @waternz.org.nz or @avenues.co.nz.
The Taumata Arowai (water regulator) establishment unit is looking to develop an acceptable solution for household point-of-entry type water treatment systems in New Zealand for use in rural/agricultural supplies, and is collecting information about the range of cartridge filter and UV disinfection systems currently available. The goal is for equipment compliant with this acceptable solution to be widely available and economic whilst setting a standard that provides potable water with an acceptable level of risk. If your company currently sells drinking water treatment equipment of this type it would be helpful if you are able to provide some brief information about the products that you sell by 26 June 2020.

However, there is a catch: the c-word (COVID) cannot be mentioned. So put on a brave face and come mingle with some other bubbles, all while trying to avoid the most topical thing on everyone’s mind.
