Watermain Burst Analysis - Predictive tool for water renewal planning and budgeting being used by Waimakariri and Selwyn District Councils
Maori Engagement and our Wai - New Plymouth District Council's Journey to genuine engagement with mana whenua
Following decades of often token engagement with Maori over infrastructure development, NPDC have committed to undertake genuine engagement with mana whenua. We aim to transition from simply building pipes to building infrastructure reflective of iwi, hapu and whanau interests. we'll share our experience to date along with a case study on how we are building genuine relationships with our local kaitiaki.
The Pathway of Small Supplies from Facilities Maintenance to Water Operations - Auckland Council
Auckland Council's small water and wastewater systems serving public facilities where historically managed by Community Facilities (Parks) Department. Decision was made to hand over the management of these small systems to Healthy Waters Department (formally Stormwater Department) in July 2017.
This presented a unique management responsibility, and the presentation will cover the journey of this transition and how the risks were managed.
To attend this workshop you will need to register for the Water New Zealand Conference & Expo
