Submission on the Fire and Emergency Bill

The District and City Councils who in part make up our membership are providers of three waters services, and have an existing relationship with the existing New Zealand Fire Service with regard to Fire Service use of the water system for firefighting.

Water NZ is primarily concerned with changes that affect the water sector and our comments in this submission are therefore directed at changes affecting that sector. Water NZ has a number of overarching or general comments as well as comments on specific provisions.
