This is the draft Water New Zealand Small Water Suppliers Competency Framework. Small Water Suppliers own, manage and operate small scale drinking water supplies. They take source water, treat it and distribute it to a population of between 50 to 500 people. They fulfil a crucial role in ensuring that New Zealand communities, particularly in rural areas, are supplied with safe and sufficient water.
