Letter from Water New Zealand regarding definition of Te Mana o te Wai in Water Services Entities Act 2022

Water New Zealand is concerned that under the Water Services Entities Act, water captured in pipes, tanks and cisterns won’t have the legislative protection of Te Mana o te Wai that other forms of water has. We believe this could have unintended consequence for the managing of water.
