Inquiry into Community-led Retreat and Adaptation

Environment Committee opened an inquiry into community-led retreat and adaptation funding. This consultation will inform the drafting of the Climate Adaptation bill, which is now expected early/mid 2024.

Our submission requested including water services in the community conversations around protect, adapt, retreat; taking a risked based approach; and training and recruiting skilled facilitators to lead the conversations.
