Looking to progress your career, but also wanting to live life to the full? Taupō District Council is looking for a Senior Operator Serviceperson – Asset Renewals & Pools to join our team who shares our commitment to our community & to being the best we can be.
In this senior role you’ll provide leadership to the Asset Renewals team, helping to build our culture of high performance, comradery and accountability. You’ll maintain, update & develop Water & Wastewater asset information and operational maintenance plans and ensure the efficient & effective operation & maintenance of Council’s treatment assets.
You’ll need a mechanical trade qualification, experience in the operation and maintenance of treatment or processing plants and knowledge of telemetry SCADA & PLC systems would be an advantage. Ideally you will have a National Certificate in Water or Wastewater Treatment but most importantly you will be a successful people leader and strong relationship builder who strives for excellence in all they do.
