Who are we

We manage the drinking water, wastewater and storm water services from source to sea for our client councils, who are the Hutt, Porirua, Upper Hutt and Wellington city councils, South Wairarapa District Council and Greater Wellington Regional Council. We partner with the community, engineering consultants and contractors on water services projects, water conservation, operations work and asset planning.

Where you come in

The purpose of the role is to provide oversight and guardianship over the 3 waters networks critical assets to ensure they are managed and controlled in an integrated way to provide essential services to our customers and protect the environment. As the Network Controllor you'll be our gatekeeper for any operational decisions that may impact the organisation's outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • A relevant engineering qualification, either degree or NZCE
  • Prior experience in operations, risk management / mitigation and contingency planning. As well as, Emergency response and incident management and managing infrastructure projects
  • Customer service and relationship management
  • Thorough understanding of the 3 waters networks management and service delivery
