Compliance Analyst - Water Services Team

Our Water Services Team is seeking a Compliance Analyst to assist us in ensuring the services we deliver to the community meet all health legislation and environmental consenting requirements.

As a Compliance Analyst within Waitaki District Council's Water Services Team, you will be supporting the efficient and effective delivery of three waters infrastructure and services to the community.

The team

Our Water Services Team is a close-knit group of engineering professionals who pride themselves on close collaboration, high performance and continuous improvement. The team is progressive and exists within a supportive assets group - providing plenty of opportunities for professional development.

The position

This role will be based in our Oamaru Office and contribute to helping protect Waitaki's people and environment through monitoring and reporting on compliance with resource consents, the NZ Drinking Water Standards and other legislative requirements.

About you

You will have a relevant tertiary level qualification and at least two-years' experience in an environmental or health compliance role. You will have working knowledge of the New Zealand Drinking Water Standards and be competent in accurate data recording. Your problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently, will be one of your core strengths.
