Role overview:

As a Water Services Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting planned operations maintenance activities and implementing small capital projects to enhance compliance, health, and safety within our community. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, administering minor capital works, developing scopes of work, and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Approx minimum to maximum salary range NZ$63,934-$75,216 (gross annual). Minimum hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.

Key Requirements:

  • Suitable knowledge and experience in civil engineering or infrastructure management and maintenance in relevant areas, such as water services
  • NZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil), NZCE (Civil), or equivalent Science or Chemistry qualifications desirable
  • Previous experience in project or contract management desirable
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical information effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
