Waihanga Ara Rau alongside the Construction Sector Accord are excited to announce the first construction and infrastructure workforce leadership development summit, followed by the Beacons Awards.
It's on in Wellington at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa on Wednesday, 6 September 2023.
The summit brings together thought leaders and changemakers from across the industry, including iwi/Māori and Pasifika business leaders who will share examples of best practice, development of tools, lessons, insights and tips on:
- attracting and retaining the right talent
- advancing your team through leadership development
- building a skilled workforce for the future
- harnessing the power of diversity, well-being, and culture to drive productivity.
Throughout the year, Construction Sector Accord Beacons case studies shine a light on good practice in the sector for others to learn from. Along with self-nominated organisations, all who are showcased are entered into the awards. These examples of good practice and winners of the awards will be celebrated on the night. Jehan Casinader will entertain as MC while you enjoy a sit-down meal, networking and celebrating the amazing mahi happening across the sector.
