Seismic Resilience: What does this mean for our water infrastructure?

Networking

In recent years the seismic model for New Zealand has evolved, and the probability of higher magnitude earthquake events have impacted how we design our infrastructure across the country.

This presentation will look at some recent case studies for how site specific parameters have been considered for the design of drinking water network upgrades in the Wellington Region. By incorporating this approach these upgrades look to improve the overall resilience in the water network following a large seismic event.
