Matt is a Technical Lead – Hydrogeology, at GHD limited, with significant experience in local government and consulting. Matt has a sound understanding of Source Water Risk Management Planning (SWRMP), water resource management including Taumata Arowai Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules , and regional and district council functions. He has significant expertise in providing technical advice to support water safety plans (particularly SWRMPs), regional planning processes, designing groundwater monitoring networks, water resource investigations that explore the impact of land use on water quality, auditing and preparing groundwater technical information for resource consents (including stormwater, wastewater, and other discharges) and co-ordinating collaboratively focused complex environmental projects. Matt is experienced at presenting complex information to mana whenua, decision makers and communities.
