This presentation covers solutions to preventing backflow of Stormwater and Wastewater in gravity pipes. There is an increasing risk to homes and peoples lively-hoods from rising tides and flooding of Stormwater drains and combines sewers.

Hydroflow Civil has been providing a solution to this problem with their Fernco Flap Valves and Penstock Valves. This presentation looks at case studies where these products were used to prevent flooding and backflow of Stormwater as well as proving a solution for managing flow in and out of townships from the sea.
