Asset Management Lead, Three Waters Reform

Emily is the Asset Management Lead for the National Transition Unit and is instrumental in helping to deliver Waters Reform across the country.

Emily joined the team in June 2022 and is primarily responsible for:

• the development of asset management plans for each entity, including the 10-year capital investment plan
• a national code of practice for reticulation design and construction

Emily has been working in the assessment management space for 30 years with local and international experience. Emily joined the NTU from Hamilton City Council where she held a number of roles, including waters manager, facilities manager and asset manager. During her time at Hamilton she instigated the development of the Regional Infrastructure Technical Specifications – the engineering design standards used throughout the Waikato as well as many asset management plans, asset valuations and asset processes throughout the orgnaisation.
