Our Pipeline e-newsletter which is emailed fortnightly to around 8000 subscribers also provides opportunities for advertising and the promotion of events and activities. It is particularly valuable for advertising job vacancies within the sector. Jobs advertised in Pipeline also appear on our website.
Our flagship publication Water, is published five times a year. It’s glossy printed edition is distributed to members and other key decision makers and industry leaders while the digital version is widely available through online outlets and our website. Water aims to keep members and key stakeholders up to date with the latest developments, innovation and trends.
Networking opportunities abound through our member groups, industry conferences, webinars, regional meetings and interaction with veteran practitioners.

As a Water New Zealand member you get the opportunity to nominate and vote for Board members, Our Board consists of four elected members and four appointed members.
Members recieve special advertising rates, access to trade expo stands at annual conferences and discounted membership rates for additional members.
Members qualify for a 10% discount on IWA membership, which includes a range of entitlements such as The Source, IWA's bi-monthly magazine.
A Corporate Member is any corporation, company or organisation trading, practicing or with an interest within Water New Zealand's scope, from local authorities to consultants to SOE's. Corporate Membership is required if you wish to exhibit at The Water New Zealand Conference & Expo. Each Corporate membership includes three complimentary Corporate Additional Memberships.

A Corporate Member (the company) may purchase unlimited Corporate Additional Memberships at a discounted rate. Each Corporate Additional Member is entitled to the same rights as an Individual Member.

For those individuals who have an involvement or interest in water, wastes and the environment. Individual Members get all the benefits as outlined above, from The Water Directory, Water and Pipeline publications, to Special Interest Groups and voting rights.

Student/Recent Graduate Members are individual members engaged in fulltime study, or up to three years post-graduation, of a recognised course or tertiary qualification.
Student/Recent Graduate Members receive the same benefits as individual members except no voting rights or physical copies of (but do have online access to) Water or The Water Directory.
For those individuals who have retired from the workforce and who have previously held full financial membership, and wish to remain in touch with the industry. Individual (Retired) Members get all the benefits as outlined above, from The Water Directory, Water and Pipeline publications, to voting rights.
$50.00 (inc GST) per year
Overseas members do not incur GST, however $85 per person per annum (pro rata) will be charged to cover postage costs of the 'Water' journal. Alternatively, this can be read online.
